Gertie Grove, Nancy's mother, was our girl scout leader throughout the 10 years we were in scouts. . . and she had her hands full! We were an ornery bunch! Gert didn't miss much and led us through our activities--memorable to this day. Nancy is shown here during the Skyline Caverns trip sneaking a pose on the cop's motorcycle in 1966.

Great subject~ I don't think I have seen another LO dedicated to a GS leader! I was a GS Troop Leader for 10 yrs and took my Troop to SF to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge for their 6th gr bridging~ Nice page design, Cindy :)

I was a GS leader too, juniors. They were quite the group. Girls can learn a lot from each other in this setting. All their personalities are different, an early lesson in life:) I like this paper!!
