I'm attempting to teach myself to knit again. I have a book that my mom got me and I followed it before (a little). THis time I spent two days trying to figure out how to cast on the needle with no luck. Found a video on Pinterest and after watching the 2 minute video I picked it up easily. I have a few flubs but hey, I'm just learning. Practice makes perfect, right? I'm practicing with pastel yarn my mom gave me.

So far, so good, keep up the good work. I love to knit it's so relaxing and laughable, well my knitting is, drop stitch here, picked up stitch there, yep a laugh a stitch. LOL

Looks awesome! I bought my dd a self-teaching kit but I didn`t think it would work. It did though and she loves it! Now I have to get her to teach me. lol

Very pretty! I tried to learn to knit years ago with very little success! I use to could crochet a little. Never really liked to, tho.
