this is an absolutely gorgeous room! thanks so much for sharing...it gives me inspiration to keep working on my space to get it to a more open and organized area. i really love the desk. going to have to look into getting one of those!
My goodness, you are a woman after my own heart! I decided to paint my scrap room a soft gold ('Millet') and am using black, white and touches of brown. I'm using a photograph of a tree in snow as inspiration. I also have wood floors but only one window. Love your frame...this room is wonderful :)
I love the color. Would you mind sharing what the color paint is? The window treatments are beautiful. I don't blame you for not throwing those chairs away. They are very feminine looking. The mirror was a beautiful choice. Wow I love your design. Just beautiful.
Your room rocks. Just love it, love it. You are so blessed to have such a wonderful space to work in let alone get inspired to put out beautiful works of art. Keep making the world a wonderful place.
This is absolutely beautiful and stunning! You did an amazing job and I can only hope to have a room this wonderful some day. My space is also in the basement right now in the old kitchen! Not too many ways to make that all cozy. LOL! I hope you joy your room. WONDERUL!
Oh Robin, your room is beautiful. I can see why you moved it upstairs. It is so warm feeling. I love the color on the walls with the white woodwork with your gorgeous floors. My room is in the basement too. And unless it is hotter than blazes up, it is colder than all get out down there. I have dibs on my son's room. But he is only 5. So I have a ways to go before I can take it over.
WOW!!! Your room looks romantic, elegant, cute and GORGEOUS! I love everything in here. The design, the cabinets and you have a lot of storage. That's a dream come true scrap-room. Congratulations! I love it!
ROBIN!!!!!!! DEAR GOD WOMAN!! THIS IS GORGEOUS!! If you are still working on this..then I cant wait for it to be finished...for me..this IS finished! Welll done! Enjoy and enjoy that light!!!
After three years in my basement craft room I decided to move to my upper level for the windows. My old room was dark, but cozy. I still have a few finishing touches, but I am happy with the way it's coming along.
I am having chairs painted (the chair you see on the left), cushions made and possibly adding crown molding. The chairs were given to us by my mother-in-law many years ago and I have kept them in my garage. I knew I would use them someday.
My husband and I cut made two cornices for my windows. I went kiinda fancy with the design, so we are having an upolsterer put the fabric on for us. I wanted to make them myself but it was a bit above my skill level. lol!
I am a romantic at heart and wanted my space to reflect that. I love cozy, feminine rooms and I hope that is what I am able to achieve once I'm all done.
