This is my maternal grandmother..This was taken before she left England after WW1 to become her American Marine's bride. She was very young here. I'm really not sure what she was supposed to be...there is another photo of her and a friend dressed as soldiers with brooms for rifles..but in that pic her face was out of focus..also there are pics of her and Grandpa partying with friends. (to be scrapped later).I am guessing this is around 1918 or 1919 and it is in London..that much I know for sure.
I did this for the Distressed challenge..one of the twists was to make a flower. I made the two large pink ones...I have decided to continue BUYING flowers. Also this is entered in the Swirlydoos butterfly challenge.
