These are our two rescue kitties. Both our cats, Luci (Lucifer) and Gabi (Gabriella) were found on the streets of LA and sort of became our pets. Luci is about 8 years old and Gabi is around 9 months old and deaf. I got Luci at 6 months old and Gabi at 1 month. Both were abandoned and left to fend for themselves, and now are the most pampered princesses!
My ugly papers were the pink leopard print paper and a pink 'Grandma' paper which I cut out some words to make the title and flowers. I will probably have to go back over the title with a pen so it shows up better. The ugly embellie is the bandage underneath the flower. I thought that was appropriate for these two since they broken and were healed with loving care.
I stitched the border around the leopard print paper and cut it out, then stitched the circle and added the journalling lines.
