Cruise Day 24

Friday, October 21st, 2011 – A nice, quiet sea day. We needed that after running around Shanghai for the past two days.

That evening was formal night again and we had planned to dress up for dinner in the dining room for lobster tails. However, after trivia we went back to our room at 4:00PM and Bill fell asleep while I downloaded our Shanghai pictures onto my computer. Then at 5:00PM I decided to take a short nap too. When we work up it was 7:30PM and the dining room and the Lido both closed in 20 minutes – no time to dress up so we had our lobster at the Lido buffet. We both agree, we’ve eaten a lot of lobster, but this was up there with the best!

When we got back to our cabin, along with our evening towel animal, there was a zippered tote bag for each of us made of canvas and lined with plastic for wet items. It also had a zippered pocket inside and a shoulder strap.

On the front is a monogrammed patch with 2011 Grand Asia to Australia Voyage - ms Amsterdam with the Holland America logo.

The notecard placed beside the tote bag said, “For all your adventures ashore or on board, the boat bag has been a much sought after gift.

Now it has been produced in easy-use cruise-color canvas with an adjustable strap to even change it into a shoulder-slung messenger bag!
