Just a simple (kinda) quickie. I was fooling around with some new stuff I got...embossing paste with a crackle finish..I used it with a flourish stencil and then colored it with a blue ink pad to get blue into the cracks...I'd done it on a scrap thinking I may not like it but I did....so then I had this thing that I really liked..what to do? Found a pic of dd1 taken in the Northern California Redwoods..love the photo and the colors looked nice with blue pp..the butterfly I cut out of an invitation dd1 recieved and I asked if I could cut the butterly out of it and it matched...I had a couple chippie trees (Dusty Attic from Craftysprinkles etsy). I always wanted to use that face thingy on the top and that scrap of green lace from who knows where...and voila almost instant layout (more like 2 hours but for me that is instant).
The resin face is 4 or 5 years old and was made by Petaloo..it's called a daisy center.
The wood plank bg pps is by Donna Salazar.
