This is a photo of my maternal grandfather (right side), and his older brother. Otto, dressed in their Sunday best. They were very close to one another. Sadly, while he was working in Washington D.C., Otto died at the age of thirty, in the flu epidemic of 1918. For the rest of his life, my grandfather mourned the loss of his brother.

Oh my goodness. that is so sad. I can understand - my sister's death really affected me in so many ways. I love this fun photo of the 2 of them. And you scrapped it beautifully!!!!!!!

Wonderful lo! Love these G45 pps...they are so versatile and really do not need much in the line of embellishments...they are awesome on their own!! It must have been a devastating blow to loose his brother at such a young age!! They looks so wonderful sitting there, all dressed to the 9's!! xox
