I buy the spanish white ones. :) And then I diced it up into little pieces and freeze it in little ziploc baggies - so easy to toss into stews, soups, and other dishes without the kids knowing it.

Why do they call them red onions when they look purple to me. Everything looks so nice and fresh. Are you planning to eat that salad? I'm thinking some carrots, eggs and walnuts would be good on top. OH, and I love those little sesame seeds sprinkled around also.
