My Daddy spent summers at White Lake in NC while my grandfather worked there. Daddy always had a fondness for North Carolina after his early years there, so I think of him whenever I'm visiting. I love this photo of him, obviously taken in the country in the Summer of 1937. His mother refused to cut those beautiful blonde curls for another year!
I lifted the design for this page from somewhere and for the life of me, I cannot recall where, so if someone recognizes it, please fill me in! I think it was in ST magazine and I just thought the design was clever (mine is totally different colors, stuff).
