When we returned to the dock to get on the little boat to leave Monkey Island, a family with several children was getting off to see the monkeys. We gave them our big sticks with the leaves and told them the children really should carry them because some of the male monkeys really were a little overly aggressive and also advised them not to feed them, as that made them even more aggressive. They thanked us for the warning and gave our sticks to the children.
