A few years ago I decided to make a heritage album of a different kind - 1 of family weddings.
My parents got divorced in 1983, when I was 11. My mom didn't handle it very well (as can be expected), and she went through a phase of tearing up most of the photos with her and my dad in them.
The photo was wonderful find - of all place amongst my Dad's things sent to us after he died. Why he would hold onto an old wedding photo of him and my mom even after he remarried I cannot fathom, but I'm truly grateful he did!
The photo was taken at Windmill Park in Springs.
I scraplifted the page I made for friends Mark & Liezl's wedding. The ribbon lattice work is a bit of pain but well worth the effort in the end.
