Dd had met all her educational, social and career goals and had reached that point in her life where she said 'what's next', and along came this young man with his sweet southern manners and perfect timing, so different from what she was used to hearing from the NY boys, and that was it. These photographs were taken the night of their Marriage Celebration on 5/5/12 when they had snuck away for a moment to have a cigarette. Dd says she saw the door open slightly and an arm come in and begin snapping away, and that is how our fabulous photographer, Justin Tinapay of NJ got this wonderful series of b&w photographs by the light of a single lamp. So Robert Mitchum film noir, I think they're sizzling hot and they're the first photos I've ever scrapped that actually intimidated me! The single color photo of my little femme fatale had been taken earlier in the day outside, but I thought it went well with the theme of this lo and gave me the excuse to use the red in the bg. Aside from the G45 Le Romantique collection, I went way back into my several years old stash for the flowers, frames and photo corners, manufacturers long forgotten. The title tag isn't really crooked in real life, I don't know why it looks crooked in the picture, but thanks for looking.
