I am absolute novice in scrapbooking although I always wanted to try. I started 3 months ago and for so long I was only using pre-made stickers, flowers and borders. This is a picture of my son going to his senior prom and I wanted to do something special. On this website I found very useful videos which gave me ideas about painting the paper and making flowers from the coffee filters. The handwriting on a stock of old looking papers is one of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow quotes: "How beautiful is youth! how bright it gleams with its illusions, aspirations, dreams! Book of Beginnings..."
