Journalling reads: We were lucky enough to have one leg of the Olympic torch relay going right past our front door. At first none of us could really grasp why it was so important or why he was there was so much fuss about it. On the day there were huge crowds of people filling the entire road, it was impossible not to get caught up in the excitement of being a small part of this once in a lifetime experience. Once the Samsung sponsorship teams turned up blasting music and riding their quad bikes, the atmosphere completely changed, It became much more of a party. They walked along the road handing out flags and these inflatable noise sticks. The two of you had a great time banging them together and using them to hit each other with.
