My Place of Peace **Sweethaven Challenge & NEW Bo Bunny!!**

So my friend Courtney Watsh just recently had her 2nd book/novel published in a series she calls 'Sweethaven'. Her books are heartwarming stories based around scrapbooking. I couldn't be more thrilled for her! She had asked a few of her scrapper friends if they would make up some example layouts for a weeklong challenge she is running at her blog to celebrate the release of her newest book. She gave us a list of topics to choose from and I picked "A place where I can most be myself" As you can see here, that place is my/our bedroom....I love nothing more than getting into my jammies and escaping to my bedroom for a good read, or a little scrapping, maybe even a nap!.....and as you can see it also seems to be the favorite place for my pup Zoe, she has her blanket at the foot of the bed where she spends her time keeping me company.

I used the beautiful NEW Bo Bunny collection called Serenade for this layout....the challenge at BB was to journal in a unique and interesting wey. I chose to journal in a way that adds visual interest to the page. I machine stitched a zig-zag circle onto the page and then added my journaling around it.
