I love this. This is my page for the heritage challenge.
I really love these papers. I drew & made the cup.
My mom only drank tea. Everyday she used her good dishes cup & saucer to drink it. It was Franciscan Desert Rose which she loved. That is what the cup I made is. This pic is not very good but I am so thankful to have one of her drinking tea.
I think it is faded looking but oh well.

A wonderful way to pay tribute to your Mom who loved and adored her lovely tea cups. I also have a beautiful tea cup and matching tea pots that have fond memories for me as my greatgrandmother started it, went to my Mom and now me.

This is lovely! My favorite aunt had the Desert Rose dishes and I loved them - her house was so "homey" to me. I loved it there. We had dinner with a research doctor in her lovely home in Seattle recently and she had these beautiful dishes too. The layout is stunning!

Oh, I remember Desert Rose from my childhood. You drew it well. Love the soft, feminine color pallette. It has the gently faded Victorian feel of a ladies sitting room. Lovely!
