Somehow I missed this....It's beautiful...that stitched paper top and bottom almost looks suede...GREAT PICTURE!!!...and did it justice that's for sure!
Vickie! Where have I been?! How did I miss this one? This is such a wonderful heritage page! The photo is a real treasure, and you scrapped it beautifully! I love how all of your flowers are home-made, too! Just a beautiful layout!!!!!
This is so beautifully done Vickie!! Love your matting and diecuts and the stitched borders at the top! Such a gorgeous Wedding party, the photo is an absolute treasure. Love your Dad's curls!!
Another great heritage lo!!! That photo is priceless and it looks like your dad had quite the head of hair!!! Too cute! Love the muted colors and flowers and, of course, your stamping and fussy cutting are hits again!!!
Positively GORGEOUS lo!! What a wonderful photo...the wedding looks VERY lavish!! Their dresses and flowers are amazing!! Your die cuts are fabulous; love the flourishes, flowers and layering, the little doves are perfect!! Superb job on this gorgeous heritage creation!!
Such a wonderful heritage page with a lovely picture - it's always so much fun to see clothing styles from the past - great pp, flowers, swirls and embellies.
A family wedding in the mid 1930's. That's my Dad in the front row on the far left and the little girl (with the sour look on her face) second from the right is his older sister, my aunt. I believe the bride was my Great great Aunt Ruth. Unfortunately, I never met the woman. But I do LOVE the stylish elegance of the wedding party, therefore the simple title "Treasure". The flowers are all die cut - some are fabric and some are paper. Stamped and fussy cut the other embellies. The mat was cut on the cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge. As always, thanks so much for taking a peek.
