This is the last page of my darling nephew's first year baby book.

At the beginning of August I had some other ideas for two more pages, but a handful of things happened yesterday that I took as a sign.

#1. The quote on this Kaisercraft paper. The paper arrived in the store a couple of days ago, and of course I snatched some of it up thinking "store project" and "Brady Book," but I didn't really LOOK at it until I started this layout yesterday. When I did, I found this quote on one of the pages, and of course, I had to use it because it's just perfect.

#2. Based on the fall of the pages, this layout with this quote ends up on the back side of a page protector instead of a front. That makes it a LAST page instead of a FIRST page.

#3. It's IN my final page protector. I thought I had another empty one, but I miscounted when I loaded pages, and if I want to add another one, I'll have to open the binder. It's not a big deal, since it's a three ringer, but still -- it's a sign.

#4. The photo. I know, they're just going down the driveway for a walk, but it's a journey, and they are leaving the house rather than coming home. That's symbolic. Brady is leaving his first year behind, and embarking on his next year of life - the year he becomes a toddler which will begin a whole new adventure, with lots of new and fun pictures to scrap up.

Thank you to everyone in this community who traveled this road with me this past few months. I appreciate your comments, suggestions, and support more than you can even begin to imagine. Brady's BD is in a couple of weeks. I hope that someday he'll understand how much love went into this. I know his PARENTS already do.

Jon, Jen - let's arrange a time for me to get this to you. :-)
