This is a cat i had in California, over 25 years ago. Behind her are oleander bushes. This is in the high desert in Lancaster, California. I had never seen these flowers before and i thought they were amazing. It was so pretty the way the sun would shine through the leaves and make the blossoms look so beautiful. I loved the way the green and white looked together, so fresh. The gold on the outside of the layout is modelling paste. The circle also has it with layers of paint and then crackle on top. I find it amazing at how i struggle so much with these pages! i tried something different with the gauze. Instead of spraying it i put water and paint in a jar and stuck the gauze in. Then i took the gauze out, put some more of the darker blue, swirled the mix, put the material back in. It came out with areas that were darker, which was kindof neat. Theres a circle of black ppr under the round frame to make it stand out more from the purple background.
