This is for the MSC Sketchathon Day 21 -- a nice quick and easy one. I used all scraps and actually got this done before I left for work this morning. :)
This was taken at our Cruise Night -- I thought the pics and colors were perfect for this LO. I'm not completely sold on the yellow background, though. I've mostly been using kraft, white or ivory backgrounds, so when I use such a bright color like this it looks a little glaring to me. I did some very light stamping with a harlequin background stamp to give a bit of texture and tone down the yellow. The strips were all scraps from my stash.

When I saw the light stamping I immediately thought of tire tracks! Great job with this and I think the yellow is perfect!

I love the interesting angles of the car photos - especially the red. I think the yellow was a good choice for this bg as well :)

I like the yellow along with the stamping. Love tha u got to use your scraps.

The stamping does a lot to tone the bright down to manageable levels, but I think that the yellow is really perfect for this layout. It echos the feeling of the time period of the cars and gives your layout a happy feel. I know it's a big change from neutrals, but you gotta have SOME variety to add a little spice to your life, right?
