My best friend Alan and I met in Kindergarten, we even sat next to one another in the class photo. We're now 31 and still great friends. I wanted to document that first coming together. I created the apple piecing myself with a picture of an apple that I found, I printed it three times and cut different sections out of each one for my pattern on each paper. The boy and girl silhouettes were paper pieces I got from scrapbooksetc.com I cut the hexagons from scrap papers I had left over that matched my color scheme. I wanted it to look like everything was on a school desk so I used a wood grain paper and punched holes in a white lined cardstock I had to make it look like notebook paper.
