What an amazing layout filled with such wonderful history!!! Thank you for sharing the great story of his birth! Very neat clippings and the handwriting make for perfect embellishment!!
My grandpa's birthplace in Montana. I was so excited when I saw his handwriting on the back of the photo. I scanned and printed it off and then inked it like crazy. I really hope he wasn't actually born in this shack. He was a premature birth. His mom dropped him while she fell asleep, he rolled down her legs caught by her feet next to the fire. He was so small he fit in a shoebox and they put hot water in canning jars around him to keep him warm. The joke was always that they couldn't close the lid due to his nose being so big. Grandpa was born in 1920 and the photograph may be from around that time or in 1940 when he went back to his birthplace.
