This is Katie. She was my foster kitten, and she died last week due to a vet error during her spay surgery. The name the shelter gave her was Serenity, but my daughter renamed her before she was even home - to Katie. As I got to know her, I felt Serenity didn't fit anyway, because she was so vibrant, full of energy, and playful, so Katie fit her much better. After she died, I realized Serenity fit her just as much, because I am going through a rough period in my life, and she gave me the only serenity I had. I miss her.
I did this layout of her with the October Scraps of Elegance kit, because the bright beautiful colors fit her personality so well, and I wanted to scrap her picture the was she was, vibrant, sweet, cute, and fun.

So sorry this beautiful kitty isn't there to bring you serenity anymore. She is gorgeous! Hugs to you for all you are going through. Your layout is eautiful and a wonderful way to remember your fur friend!
