Journaling reads:
Nestled at 4,200 feet on the main trail to Jamaica's Blue Mountain Peak,
Whitfield Hall is host to incredible flowers, plants, and bird life. It is also a
working coffee plantation dating back to 1776, producing certified Jamaican Blue
Mountain coffee. The Main House is an 18th century structure featuring dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. No electricity, but vintage Tilley lamps provide light.
There are bathroom facilities but no hot water. We spent an unforgettable hiking weekend here –just us, the crisp mountain air and the most delicious home cooked meals.
