My dad brought me some home after a trip he was on one year. The container was like what you would get a jelly/jam in at a restaurant. Just enough to get a good taste. Wasn't bad but not sure I'd eat it all the time! :)

I've heard of vegemite before, but never saw how it was packaged. What does it taste like...how do you use it?

Oh my! I used to work with a gentleman that was from Australia. He brought us in a jar of Vegemite so we could taste it. To me, it tasted like a beef boullion cube before the water was added to it. Not popular here either.

that's hilarious! We had 'cultural day' at school, so I made some tiny vegemite sandwiches. NOT popular in California! the principal looked at me with pity and said in a questioning way...you actually eat this stuff right, this wasn't a joke... Oh how I miss a good dose of Vegemite!
