A section of the fair called Wilderness Ridge was dedicated to protecting the forest and to help teach young explores how to care for the land. The rangers gave Shawn a map to follow and if he completed each section, at the end of his journey he was given a special token of appreciation (really cool binoculars) In this photo he was completing one of the tasks, making a wilderness button! He was sooo proud of it, he wore it the whole time at the fair... TFL
