Maude Fealy, an actress from the early 1900's. It was strange, i was working on this and it all seemed so easy. Puzzled, i continued. The scroll got me, i painted it gold and purple, with some clear embossing pwder on top.I thought, huh, matches exactly, should look good. No! It got lost in the bg. So, many coats of stuff later, still blended in. Ok so i'll change the bg. I painted it gold. Then the flowers that went there before didnt work under, or on top of the scroll. I moved the scroll and had this thick gold paint and thought hah! Lets put some stuff on it! Yay, fun! And it was. Still kind of a blah page, and i thought, its getting too busy. I thought of someone recently who wrote on a page, more is better.(actually not sure if i was thinking that but it sounds right.) Lately ive been thinking, i want to be able to check off every category in the technique part of the description. I seriously doubt I'll ever get them all. After photographing the page, the photo of Maude started creeping me out, her expression seemed to change with the different pics of the page i took. Before i put more black ink in the printer, the photo had a lot of purple in it, thats why i used these colors. I put more ink in and the pic was so much better. Vintaj bead caps at upper right of Maude's photo are an idea from Reneabouquet. And, it only seemed Maudes expression was changing because i was taking pics of the lo from different angles.
