When I was a little girl my older brother would tell me stories of Mary Muggins the girl who lived on the moon. Of course Mary was me and I had wonderful adventures that he told me of, but only on nights when the moon was out, and usually on our Sunday night drives home from my grandparents who lived an hour away.
I told my grandkids about this lovely memory while explaining why I have a special spot in my heart for the moon. Well that was all it took for them to start begging me to tell them Muggins stories. One day I happened to hear a true story about an event on the moon that scientists categorized as a 'burp'. That became the basis for the first tale of the 2nd generation of Muggins as they race around the moon and space and earth too on their many adventures, usually involving Grandma Muggins to rescue them from their well-intentioned though not well thought out rescues of others.
This is my lift for round 3 of the Inspiration Challenge: I was challenged to lift this striking lo by Drycka http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/562615/view/3584009/-1.html. The twist this round is to tell about a story you would write.
I misted using some star stamps as masks and then die cut a few more. The moons were found online. The photos? Well those are the kids with their wiki stix goggles that they need to wear as they zip around on their spacemobiles and keep Grandma Muggins hopping,
