Give a Cheer
A very early picture of my newborn - still with the peg on his navel! - in the bath with me, just home from hospital. The original photo had got damaged in a flood, but rescuing it was fine - the edges were worst hit, andcutting it circular makes it look ok! I was able to use some antique lace from my mum's stash (sorting out her hoarding tendencies has been quite fun when finding treasures like this!) and the rusty pin holes are still evident here and there. The thread I used for the stitching is also from her stash, as was the cotton tape bow on the heart. I was very pleased with how this turned out. 9#5 in Oct 20/20)
