Before you blow out the candles, you need some party favors to match the celebration flavor. Anything is possible when you make the most of the many possibilities that Sizzix Framelits dies and matching stamps by Stephanie Barnard have to offer.
Cut a solid 3-D party hat and scallop hat border out of cardstock and patterned paper using the eclips machine and Birthday Party & Fun Times cartridge. Roll the cutout into a cone shape and adhere the edges together. Attach the border along the bottom of the hat. Cut a large Ornate Label out of cardstock and accordion fold, secure the middle of the shape and adhere to the hat. Embellish the along the folded edges with glitter. Stamp a frame with the phrase "Happy Birthday" onto cardstock. Align the corresponding Framelits die over the stamped image and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits die in place while the shape is being cut. Die-cut a larger label out of patterned paper. Layer the stamped and patterned paper labels over the folded label and adhere in place. Finish by adding shredded metallic filler to the top of the party hat.
