My Mother-in-law took this photo a long time ago. Hopefully itll be sunnier tomorrow so i can show the bling better. I found it so hard to cover any of this beautiful paper. I cut out the area behind the pic to save for another project cuz i didnt want to waste it. I stamped then embossed different things ,just ones i like more than others. I put acrylic paint in the cap of the container and poured it on, then put beads in it. The lacing idea was from a page Rachie Babe did, but she used brads. The tiny gold flowers are embossed. The clear glass beads on the border on the top, right and bottom i strung on black thread. I buy bulk packs of beads and sort them by color, its a lot cheaper and a more deranged way of getting them. The scroll i cut by hand and put maybe 10 coats of clear emb. powder, paint, and copper pearlex powder. I was stumped on how to make it show up more, it came out the same colors as the background. Putting stuff on top helped. Pearls, crystals,whatever. And i put some paint on underneath them. I think i like this pic better than the sunnier one, its more restful or something. The big rhinestones on the lower left scroll are from an old necklace i took apart.
