My friend and I went to the orchard to get apples one lovely fall afternoon and we were greeted by these funny chickens. They were quite interested in us and the one in the top photo nearly pecked the camera she got so close. It was a hoot to watch them wander around the barn and the yard and hopping in a rainbarrel flower display.
For scraplift your favs and hoarders challenges. Once I saw the photos I knew exactly what paper I had to use: this antique Daisy D line from around 2005. I have hoarded this (two sheets of each) pp because I loved the rich colors and the roosters. I lifted from a sketch that has been in my favs since it was used in the March sketch challenge. (http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=233721&m=view&id=3545841&type=-1&page=1&f=1&c=16101). I masked using a chicken wire template. I fussy cut the roosters and popped them. The tab for the title, the title letters, and the journaling tag are diecut. TFL
