Our Cabin in the Woods - July 27, 2010 - Chugach State Park, Alaska
JOURNALING: We left Anchorage and drove 25 miles South on the Seward Highway. We found a beautiful rustic campground in Chugach State Park called Bird Creek. We would spend 4 nights here and explore Potter Marsh, Beluga Point, Girdwood, & Alyeska. Right around the campground were lots of salmon fisherman and Dall Sheep. What a beautiful area!
SUPPLIES USED: Sketch by Cheri Oneill (10-15-11); ATD Great Outdoors Paperpack; Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo & Frayed Burlap); Zing Embossing powders (Leaf); VersaMark watermark ink; Stampers Anonymous Creative Block #19 stamp; Magenta stamp; Basic Grey Precision Files; DCWV Neutrals cardstock; Bazzill Just the Edge in Walnut & Guacamole; Kaiser Craft Grid Clear Stamp; Sharpie pen; Cricut; SCAL; Font Birch Std
Technique Notes: I love Bazzill Just the Edge's but they are rather plain. I decided to "jazz" them up a bit by stamping with versa mark ink and then applying some embossing powder. The embossing added some unique texture to the page so it didn't need a lot of embellishments.
