Dgd Devan seven year old Halloween 1999. I have made all of her costumes since she was 2 and this is by far my favorite. Every year we would go to the fabric store and pick a pattern and then the fabric. She had never wanted anything girly and I was so excited when she picked the genie pattern! You can see how beautiful it came out, but that was the only girly costume for her in the years following. This is for the November Girls, Girls, Girls and the Colour (Yellow, Black, Purple, Orange & Green) Challenges. Thanks for looking!

It did come out great! I miss those trips to the fabric store with my dd to choose her patterns and fabrics - she ALWAYS picked girly - but I don't actually miss the sewing! LOL. I made all her Halloween costumes and also her All Saints' Day costumes for school, but she's in high school now. Love all your Halloween embellies here - esp the bats!

Love all the extras on this page - the beaded title, the bats, the title blocks - all of it! That that is such a cute picture - she must have enjoyed the costume too because she seems like she is playing the part. Great page.
