Journaling reads: "
When the kids were in public school, I was always the room mother. Besides the usual holiday parties, I would always cook a feast for their class at Thanksgiving – complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, candied yams, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce and a dessert. Then on the big day, the kids would don their pilgrim and Indian costumes that they had made in class and we would enjoy a great meal together. This photo was made when Adam was in Mrs. Howard’s 2nd grade class in 1994."

The little "Indian" in blue is my son Adam - and Me - I'm the big "squaw"! LOL!

The pps and embellies are all by Recollections. The "squares" were punched with a stamp punch. All inking was done with Chestnut by Colorbox. The edges of the photo are sanded. I added lots of doodling on the "stamps", borders, wording, and embellies. The design is based on a sketch by PageMaps. Thanks so much for looking!!!
