Give a Cheer
This is my 6x6 page for the Hymn & Scripture Challenge. Our word and study this week are on the hymn “Praise to the Lord the Almighty." The scripture I used was:
Lamentations 3:41 "Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven . . ."
On this page I used Fall colors since we are talking about praising God and giving Him thanks. I chose the Simple Stories Year.O.Graphy papers. They were perfect for this. The scripture comes from the ODBD set called "Lift Up Your Hands." The word 'Thanksgiving' I got from the ODBD set "Scripture Collection 4." I stamped it onto a brown paper bag that was laying on my desk. The color was perfect..
How might you give honor, thanksgiving, and praise to the Lord everyday and throughout the year?
**Repent of your sin.
**Thank Him for His gift of salvation.
**Remember Him in all you do and say and let Him be your guide.
**Recognize God by listing one thing that you are thankful for each day. Keep it on your calendar, in a journal, etc. It doesn't have to be fancy.
**Every time you pray throughout the day, thank Him!
**Obey Him.
**Have an attitude of gratefulness in all things even when things are difficult.
**Praise Him for the seen and unseen things (the Holy Spirit, hope, prayer, etc.).
