Daub Precious Metal Colour all over main tree frame and over the edges of the backing piece. Allow to dry, then paint over the top in Antique White. (You may need 2-3 coats for complete coverage.) Once dry, randomly sand the paint back to the wood all over frame. Adhere paper of choice from the Pad behind windows. (Example uses red and cream foil print patterns). Use two tags from the Collectables pack in the lower left and the uppermost windows. Use four 7.5cm x 10cm (3” x 4”) photographs in the windows as shown. Lightly dab some Precious Metal Colour on the wooden flourishes. Adhere the holly one to the left side of tree. Use the larger rhinestone flourish over the top. (This is much easier to handle and position in place if you keep it on its acetate backing and carefully cut it out.) Adhere wooden ornaments as desired. Cut out baubles form the specialty foil print paper and adhere to frame (use foam tape for some), concentrating them around the main flourish. Use mini alphas to write a Christmas quote in the “trunk” window of the tree, and tiny alphas to do the same in three other windows. Embellish the rest of frame with the smaller rhinestone flourishes. Photography by Susan Krivan
