Layout for the Gallery inspiration round 4 - lifted from Cherish by Gabriellep. It was quite a challenge for me , since I'm not much of a layering/clustering person. But at the end I had to stop myself from adding more bling here and stamps there)
first, punched the lacy background - straight punch even on the corners (measure and test, test and measure - it really works!). then cut out the heart from BasicGrey papers. Distressed and inked the edges (was spoiled later by the glue tape). Added the lace - I decided to cut the triangles along the lace pattern: not only it looks prettier, but it also made it easier to go around the curves. Cut and matted the photo. Added the chalking and distressing on the main page - the chalk pad died half way through, had to add and blend the distress ink. stamped a bit of the pattern on the background. added the tape and the die cut. stamped and glazed the the flourishes; assembled the flowers (wanted to add some purple , or the lace looked lonely). hemp twine for the pretend leafs. more flourishes, butterflies both stamped and punched; more pearls and glaze. done) Love the result!
