Oooh I haven't had this much fun in ages! 13 @rts, from Poland, is a new paper on the market and it is just awesome. My last post with 13 ArtsI showed a feminine girly page. Today we're going deep into winter. These papers are very versatile and a nice weight so that you can really apply the mixed media as I have done on this layout.

Here in the south we really don't get much snow at all and you know after 5 years in Alaska and 8 years in Denver, CO, I miss snow in the winter! Every once in a blue moon as they say, we do get the occasional freak snowstorm and that was what happened Christmas 2010. It started snowing Christmas night and we woke up 12" of snow on December 26th.

Nika was just an 8 month old puppy and being from Ocala, Florida, of course she had never seen snow before. At first she was rather taken aback and looked at me like "what is that?". But then with Chena by her side, she really immersed herself in the snow. She and Chena chased each other all over the back yard leaping and jumping and really having a ball. Of course I was out there with my camera trying to catch all the action. This is a photo I got of Nika leaping through the snow.
