We arrived at the New Orleans NAS and was able to get a beautiful room for two nights. After settling in, we were starving and stopped at Salvo's Seafood in the suburb of Belle Chasse. If you are there, stop!!! World's best shrimp po'boys with homemade bread. There is even shrimp in the potato salad. TFL! I totally lifted this LO from LelaScraps-n-Stamps (Greatest Grads). It was a great sketch.

We tried to stay here once and there weren't any rooms available. They are always full when we go through. Nice layout - and I want to go to that restaurant. I always love recommendations for good restaurants, especially seafood restaurants! New Orleans is a fun place and I enjoy the Bourbon Street area but for short time periods!
