Journaling:
After a less than awesome trial in June, I decided to make some changes to better prepare for the October trial and therefore improve our competition experience. I crated Lindy in the car rather than in the pasture and that seemed to help with her anxiety. I took a notebook and wrote down 3 good things about every run whether or not we got a Q. It helped me (and us!) have a better attitude and therefore a higher level of success. Our 3 Q's were in Novice Speedstakes (jumps & tunnels), Beginner Agility, and Beginner Gamblers (create your own course for points during a set amount of time). As you can see from the photos, her weave poles are coming along very nicely! (October 2011)
