In creating this layout, I wanted to convey the sheer fun that my husband and I had with my parents at Universal Studios, California, in 2012, and Disney, Florida, in 2011. My hubby is a Sponge Bob fan, and when he saw the square-panted fellow heading our way at Universal Studios, he couldn't resist a big old spongy hug. My dad, ever the clown and proud Canadian, is sporting a moose hat at a souvenir stand at Disney. And my mom and I are enjoying some shade under a mushroom at Disney, in Florida.
The mushrooms, caterpillar on the branch, frame, Mickey circle, and raccoon were all cut on my Mom's Cricut while we had a scrap day together recently. I added three colours of flocking to the caterpillar for a more fuzzy appearance. I did some machine stitching around the outer edge of the paper.
Thank you to my mom ("Quick Silver") for the use of her Cricut and cardstock, the frame, Mickey circle, salmon flower and yellow and white flowers, and polka-dot brad in the centre of one of the flowers. Thank you to Katie ("KDQ") for the pink butterfly and pink resin flower.
AS TIME DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ME TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL THANK-YOUS ALL THE TIME FOR COMMENTS, I THANK EVERYONE WHO CHOOSES TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR ME.
