My freshmen year of highschool. I guess it is like a re-cap of freshman year. :)
The frist page journaling on the yellow spot is from a song called the Freshmen by the Verve Pipe: For the life of me I cannot remember why we thought we were wise and we'd never compromise. For the life of me I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins. We were merely freshmen.
The journaling on the white paper reads:
My basketball coach Mr. Tadlock said, "a freshman's place is on the bench." I began to work harder than ever to change his way of thinking. I ran an extra mile every morning before practice & shot for an extra hour every night. My hard work paid off! I was in rotation with a sophomore for a starting position. My dribbling, shooting, and defense improved too!! We went as far as Area tourney before we lost out with a 26-4 record.
2nd page journaling reads:
My freshman year was spent in 4-H, Academic team, Scholastic Team, and of course playing basketball. My best friend Ashley James and I were voted Most Academic and Legends in Our Own Minds! My best friends were Ashley, Lamanda Roebuck, and Starla Mckinney.
The photos correspond with the last journaling. Each of these are the teams I was on and a photo of my best friends and me.
I freehanded the mustang and tried to give it some detail since we were LADY MUSTANGS!
