KellyCali is hosting a challenge forum this year called "Can't Get Enough of Christmas." The goal is to work on Christmas projects all year to be ready for next Christmas.

I know that you'd have to be living in a cave someplace to have not heard of Tim Holtz's 12-tags project. The first year he started these, I played along, pretty faithfully, but didn't get them all done. The next year, again, I played, finished fewer, but still had fun. By 2010, I took one look at that Rickety House tag and my mind was just blown. I didn't do a single tag that year. But in 2011, I was back with a vengeance and got most of the tags for that year done. Not all, but most.

I'm a goal oriented gal, and I like to finish what I start. Right now, I have half of the 60 tags of the five year series done, and Kelly's forum has given me the incentive I need to get the rest done THIS YEAR.

I made a list (it IS Christmas, after all). Checked it twice (to make sure that I knew exactly what was done and what was lacking). And now I'm on my way.

This is tag #3 from the first year - 2007 - and is the LAST tag of that year that I needed to get done. I don't know why I've been procrastinating so long on it. Once I got started, it was amazingly simple. And now, it's in the tag box, to be added to my Christmas garland in 2013.

One down, 29 to go!

Thanks for looking!
