From 2007: our trip to the Renaissance Festival. My sister tours with them so we always get in free!
Journaling is: This year we went to see Auntie Beth at the Renaissance Festival with the Rein family. Dave, Annemarie, and Natalie joined us on a misty, cool day in September as we walked around the grounds and enjoyed some of the kid-friendly shows and lots of the rides. Annemarie took all the kids on an elephant ride and I braved the giant rocking horse ride with them. We stopped at tried on hats at Auntie Beth’s stand while we visited with her and Jason for a bit. We also found plenty to eat as well. Pickles on sticks, turkey drumsticks, caramel apple boats, and cheesecake were the popular choices.
Trent kept insisting on having his picture taken next to the different medieval suite of armors he spotted throughout the Ren Fest. I’m not sure if he thought someone was actually inside them at first or what! 9/29/07
