My dd Alexis with Santa. We don't really do Santa in our home, but it seems the world forces Santa on children. She knows Santa is not real, but her teacher made her class write a letter to Santa as a writing project. Since we had the letter in her homework folder, I asked if she wanted to go to our local library and take a picture with Santa. :) She said "yes, if I can wear a princess dress" haha. My silly girl. She put on a formal and got her photo with Santa.

The small photo on the right is the ornament her fourth grade class made this year.

Her letter reads: Dear Santa, How are you doing? Are the elves working hard? I hope they are because I want a lot of toys. So, I am going to tell you what I want for Christmas that way your elves can make me them! I want a kindle fire, Baby Alive, Ipad, Robot dog and cat, and my sister wants a picture with you. I also hope Rudolph's nose is still bright! lastly I want a watchphone. You made me really happy last year!
love, Alexis
P.S. I'm leaving the milk and cookies on the middle of the table.

The ornament reads: This is a remember when
and its here to show
just how big I grow
This is a "remember When"
So when I'm big
We'll all recall
The picture that I made
The year I was in Fourth Grade.
