Journaling reads: There is a cow on TOP of our Christmas tree! This is what happens when the box containing our angel tree-topper goes missing. The choice was to dig in the garage for the missing box (for the third time), or improvise. A quick scan of the living room found the Holiday Cow sitting on our media center. Problem solved! The cow led to laughs and snorts and the occasional “Holy Cow”or “What the ???” remark. Also heard was, “Why is the tree leaning?”, which prompted the response, “Well, Jen, there is a COW on top of it.” The cow also inspired the Facebook post, “Christmas at the Nenni’s: This is how we roll when the angel goes missing.” The Holiday Cow is a hit. Hopefully the angel reappears next year (and hopefully she is clutching Mom’s favorite One Fish Two Fish ornament), and if she does, she will watch over us from the media center, because the cow stays!
