Ahhh - coffee. Journaling says: Cassie gave me the new Keurig Vue Brewer for Christmas. I'm in love.
This is an example for my January Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: New. Players have to scrap about something new, use a new product, or try a new technique. The twist is to use the word 'new' somewhere on the LO. Obviously, this is about my new coffee maker. I also tried a sort of abbreviated decoupage for the first time on the bracket frame by covering it with torn pieces of toile patterned tissue paper and sanding the edges. I used my new Mowed Lawn ink, and the alpha for 'enjoy' is old but I've never used it before so it was a new sheet. The 'new' is in my journaling.
This is for the Scrap What You Eat Challenge - with the healthy twist. The consensus over on that thread is that coffee is healthy - but that may just be a bunch of addicts talking. Lesley has the last word.
I used Sketch #4 from last month's PageMaps, Etc. Challenge that I didn't get to in December. I used punchinello for the masking, and I used my big mug for the Glimmer Mist 'coffee ring.' The block of 3 small photos has foam tape under both ends to level it all out to the height of the frame going under the middle.
