Wow, nice fussy cut snowflakes with such pretty sparkle. Great winter pic and cool embells - love the red nose on your reindeer. Cute idea putting thyme in a bottle. Wonderful mix of techniques to achieve this metallic effect.
Oh my gosh - I'm freezing just looking at it - wonderful winter scene, beautifully scrapped - absolutely love all the bling - I'm wondering if this photo was taken Christmas 2009 - I was going to fly back East and there was a major blizzard canceling all flights - snow can be so beautiful, but I'm glad I now live in CA ~
Wow! This is so gorgeous! Love the wintery, sparkely effects. The letters at the bottom are so perfect and I love your "time in the bottle'. Cute metaphor. I'm glad we do not get winters like that though. I'm too much of a beach girl. :)
What a beautiful view to scrap! I just took one with as much snow right outside my front door! The bird feeders have about 3" of snow on top! I think we have to work on small scrapping elements (like fussy cutting) that we can do while watching movies with the other half - then everyone is happy!
oh my! I just love this, Melissa! Such a wonderful magical feeling; the colours and textures are fabulous, and so are the beadwork and stitching. I do the same thing when I feel like I'm neglecting hubby-LOL!-bring my fussy cutting and stitching in the living room so I can work near him!
This started when i was feeling guilty about being in my scraproom so much that i hung out with the mr. and did fussy cutting. The snowflakes from a Christmas card i got. Since then Dh has reassured me its ok if im not around, lol! This is a photo my MIL took of her backyard from the deck. Its Northport,Long Island , New York, which i scrap a lot. I miss Christmas so I'll probably do more los of the season. The little bottle at the bottom left of the pic has thyme in it. So, ive saved time in a bottle(corny joke huh) The little pic in the frame is from Swedish Christmas wrapping ppr. from a gift . The red ppr around the lo and the silver under the pic are from covering tissue ppr with gel medium, took days to dry. I wanted to use it as a bg but it looked terrible with the photo. It wasnt till the last minute i put it around the lo. I didnt like the black ppr either so pretty much changed it with pearlex powders. There is black grosgrain ribbon around the pic.
